AAAC Aluminium Alloy Bare Conductor

The all aluminum alloy conductor is widely used in power transmission and distribution line. AAAC conductor as bare overhead conductor for primary and secondary distribution. Designed utilizing a high-strength aluminum-alloy to achieve a high strength-to-weight ratio; affords good sag characteristics. Aluminum-alloy 6201-T81 gives AAAC higher resistance to corrosion than other conductors

Applicaton

  • Used as bare overhead conductor for primary and secondary distribution.

  • High-strength aluminum alloy to achieve a high strength-to-weight ratio; affords better sag characteristics.

  • Aluminum alloy gives AAAC higher resistance to corrosion than ACSR.


Features

  • Large span and long crossing is possible. Tensile strength is much higher than All Aluminum Conductor.

  • Lower tower is possible. Light in weight and and better sag characteristic approx 1.3-1.4 times better than AAC.

  • Better Ampacity and Overload safely as well as its corrosion resistance.

  • The AAAC conductor is manufactured from a heat-treated, magnesium- silicide high-strength 6201 T81 aluminum alloy.

  • Popular Aluminum Strands 7, 19, 37or more wires.
