Bulgaria power grid operator ESO said that by 2026, plans to complete a total of 1506 megawatts of new power generation capacity.

ESO website announced the 10-year development plan that 1119 trillion of capacity will come from renewable energy.

According to the plan, the development of power grids in 2026 required 1.27 billion lei investment. 2017 need nearly 115 million Lev.

Grid operators are expected to attract about 150 million levies from the EU by 2026.

Renewable energy power generation is expected to increase from 5884800 MW in 2017 to 7379800 MW in 2026.
